How to play music with Hana, manage the queue, loop and autoplay, and fix choppy or robotic audio by changing the voice region.
Playing music
Join a voice channel and run /music play with a song name, a link, or an attached audio file.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/music queue | See what's coming up |
/music skip / /music previous | Next or previous track |
/music pause / /music resume | Pause and continue |
/music loop | Repeat the track or the whole queue |
/music shuffle | Shuffle the queue |
/music seek | Jump to a timestamp |
/music autoplay | Keep playing related songs when the queue ends |
/music lyrics | Synced lyrics |
/music volume | 1% to 150% |
/music stop | Clear the queue and leave |
Fixing choppy or robotic audio
If everyone hears stutter, the problem is almost always the Discord voice server between Hana and your members, not the bot.
- Hover the voice channel → Edit Channel.
- Under Overview, change Region Override from Automatic to a region near most of your members.
- Set Bitrate to at least 64 kbps.
Changing the region takes effect immediately; nobody needs to rejoin.
If only one person hears stutter, it's their connection. Ask them to try another network or turn off VPNs.
Hana won't join
- Check she can Connect and Speak in that channel (channel permissions can override roles).
- If the channel has a user limit and is full, she can't join.
