Setup & Troubleshooting
If Hana is online but commands aren't working, check the following:
- Missing Permissions: Ensure Hana's role has the
Use Application Commandspermission enabled in your server settings. - Channel Overrides: Check if the specific text channel has slash commands disabled in its settings.
- Re-invite the bot: If you invited Hana a long time ago, her permission scopes might be outdated. Kick her and re-invite her using the
/invitecommand link.
Discord enforces a strict role hierarchy. A bot cannot kick, ban, or modify the nickname/roles of a user whose highest role is placed above the bot's highest role. To fix this, go to Server Settings > Roles and drag the Hana role higher up the list.
To invite Hana to your server, you must have the Manage Server or Administrator permission. Simply click the "Invite Hana" button at the top of this page, select your server from the dropdown menu, and authorize the required permissions.
Yes. Hana operates on a strict privacy-first architecture. We do not use third-party tracking scripts on our dashboards, and message content is only processed to execute specific AI or AutoMod commands. We are fully compliant with Discord's Developer Terms of Service.
Economy & Games
Hana features a live, globally connected stock market. Use /econ market to view live prices and /econ buy-stock to invest your Chips. If you reach the Top 10 Global Richest with over 2 million Chips, you can even create your own public company using /econ stock-ipo!
Use /games fish to cast your line. You'll need to click the "Reel In" button at the exact right moment. You can catch everything from common Trout to Mythic Chests! View your catches with /games fish-bucket and sell them for Chips using /games fish-sell-all.
Every weekend (Saturday and Sunday), Hana's Blessing automatically activates. The first time you use an economy command during the weekend, you will be granted 50x Hana's Protections (which save half your bet if you lose) and 10x Golden Shrimps (which guarantee Epic or better fish). These items vanish when the weekend ends!
AI Chatbot & Image Generation
Type /generate prompt: [your idea] to create a brand new image using Google's Gemini-Flash image model. You can also upload an existing image and tell the AI how you want to modify it. To simply add funny meme text to an image or video, use /caption text: [meme].
AI chat features are enabled by default. Any user can type /ask-hana to start a private, context-aware thread with the AI. Server administrators can also allow the bot to respond directly to normal @mentions by using /hana-config toggle-mentions.
To prevent spam across your entire server, you can lock the AI to dedicated channels. Use /hana-config allow-channel channel:#your-channel. Once you add at least one channel to this whitelist, Hana will completely ignore mentions and chat requests in all other channels.
AutoMod & Security
Hana features a Wick-level Anti-Nuke protocol. Use /automod antinuke settings to set a threshold (e.g., 5 kicks in 10 seconds). If a rogue admin exceeds this, Hana will instantly strip all dangerous permissions using Panic Mode. You can also manually trigger this lockdown with /security lockdown-roles.
Hana's advanced AutoMod is OFF by default to prevent accidental mutes. To set it up:
- Check current security status:
/automod status - Assign a moderation log channel:
/automod log-channel channel:#mod-logs - Enable specific filters (e.g., Anti-Spam):
/automod filters config filter_name:Spam enabled:True
As an admin, run /ageverif setup to spawn an interactive UI wizard. This creates a secure, clickwrap legal agreement message. When users click to verify, it legally affirms their age and automatically grants them an 18+ role to access NSFW channels.
Instead of instantly banning a user for a minor offense, violations (like spam or bad words) add "Heat" points to their profile. Server owners can configure dynamic punishments using /automod heat settings, escalating from a warning to a timeout or ban as their Heat rises.
Marriage & Roleplay
Use /marry @user to send a proposal. If they accept, Hana will generate a custom glassmorphism marriage certificate image. You can check your status anytime with /relationship. If you go 6 months without interacting, the marriage will be automatically annulled to keep the /marriage-leaderboard competitive.
If you don't want people using /roleplay commands on you, run /rp-block to open your personal interactive dashboard. From there, you can block specific actions or completely disable all roleplay interactions directed at your account.
Music & Voice
Audio stuttering during /music play is rarely a bot issue and almost always a Discord Voice Server desync. To fix this:
- Open your voice channel settings.
- Change the Region Override to a different geographical location (e.g., from US East to US Central).
- Ensure the voice channel bitrate is set to at least 64kbps.
Join a voice channel and type /tts join. Hana will automatically read incoming messages from that text channel. Messages exceeding 350 characters or sent in rapid succession are ignored to prevent spam.
Users can customize their personal TTS voice by using /tts myvoice. This opens a dropdown menu with over 50+ languages and accents (e.g., Japanese, British English, Spanish). This preference is saved globally across all servers.
Leveling & Welcome Messages
Setting up custom visual greetings is easy. As an administrator, run the following commands:
- Set the designated channel:
/greetings channel greeting_type:welcome channel:#general - Set your custom message text:
/greetings message greeting_type:welcome message:Hello {user.mention}! - Turn the feature on:
/greetings toggle greeting_type:welcome enabled:True
You can preview how it looks by typing /greetings test greeting_type:welcome.
Hana automatically tracks text channel activity. Members earn between 15 and 25 XP per message, heavily restricted by a 60-second cooldown to prevent spam-farming. Users can check their rank card via /rank, and admins can configure automatic role rewards using /leveladmin addreward.
This is due to Discord's role hierarchy rules. The color of a user's name is determined by the highest role they possess that has a color assigned. An admin must go to Server Settings > Roles and drag the Hana-generated color roles (created via /colormanager panel) to the top of the role list.
