Feature

Discord moderation bot

Every warn, timeout, kick and ban is recorded as a case you can look up, edit and export. Staff notes stay private. Banned members can appeal from their DMs instead of hunting for an alt account.

Cases, not just actions

Each moderation action is stored with its reason and moderator. /mod cases view shows someone's history; /mod cases export saves it as a text file for appeals or handovers.

Private staff notes

Leave context that never reaches the member: "warned verbally in VC", "alt of X". Notes can be exported too.

Ban appeals

Bans can include an appeal link. Appeals arrive in the channel you set with /mod appeal-channel, so you review them in one place.

Precise purges

/mod purge filters by user, role, message type or text, so you can clean up a spam wave without wiping the conversation around it.

Server logs

/logging setup records edits and deletes, joins and leaves, voice moves, and role and channel changes.

Proof attached

Warns, timeouts and bans accept a proof attachment, kept with the case.

Set it up

  1. Run /mod log-channel and pick a staff-only channel. Every action Hana takes is posted there.
  2. Run /mod appeal-channel if you want to accept ban appeals.
  3. Run /logging setup, then /logging config to choose which events to record.
  4. Drag Hana's role above the roles she needs to moderate (Server Settings → Roles). A bot cannot act on anyone whose top role is higher than its own.

Questions

Can moderators without admin use these commands?

Yes. Each command checks the matching Discord permission (for example Ban Members for bans), so moderators only get what their role already allows.

Can a ban be temporary?

Yes. /mod ban add takes an optional duration and Hana lifts the ban when it runs out.
